Once the story began, when it entered the rainy season on Java; at least the weather can't be predicted in December. I was desperate to adventure alone, and even at that time information about tourist destination and even how to get there was very minimal information. Changes in the dynamics of the blog can be said to be interesting. Alright, back to topic about the story of my adventure to Tangkuban Perahu.
At that time, the weather in Bandung was a little cloudy but I was determined to do the itinerary I had made before setting foot into the city of Bandung. The first day, I was able to stay at Jalan Braga, at an inn for backpackers if I'm not mistaken it's called Chez Bon hostel. I deliberately chose to stay there because I wanted to save on transportation costs to explore locations around Jalan Braga.

Well, the next day onwards I stayed at a homestay located 2 kilometers from the hall station terminal. Intention indeed, so it is easier to get city transportation to tourist destinations in Bandung. Well, the discussion this time is special about Tangkuban Perahu. Early in the morning after breakfast, I prepared by the homestay clerk placed at the front door. I immediately got ready to go to Tangkuban Perahu armed with the little information I got from the internet. In 2014, when browsing I only got a clue like this from the terminal station hall looking for the Lembang direction, get off at Cikole to get a ride there to go to the Tangkuban boat gate.
Armed with that information, I walked to the ST terminal. Hall it’s not far from the station. This location is really full of city buses. I was confused to find the public transportation that I want. In the end, I managed to get the transport of St Hall to Lembang. This is the first trip to take an angkot to the location of a tourist destination that makes me nervous Moreover, the distance is quite far. If I remember correctly, I paid IDR 15,000 from the st hall to the Cikole intersection.
Well, this is where I got scammed with this Cikole transport driver. I know based on the inn clerk where I stayed that the transportation route was limited to the Tangkuban Perahu gate. Now, I go up and wait patiently; then there is one more passenger who joined the ride. Transports is moving without lifting other passengers. Here, I'm already getting suspicious. In fact, some people stopped this transport, but he did not attract the prospective passenger.
Until in the end, the second passenger was off from the transport in the campsite. The driver was asking for a fee of 50,000. Well, here I was increasingly worried. Wow, how much will it cost me to get to the Tangkuban Perahu gate. Finally, I went down and handed the blue money to the driver. Then, there was a debate with them (the three of them booo ....). He said going to Tangkuban Perahu area, said the kernet. Yes, but I want to find food first in a restaurant there, said I dodged.
You can't, you still have to UP them up! Well, it seems like they (the several drivers) thought that if they wanted to go to Tangkuban Perahu it was indeed brought there at a high cost. In fact, passengers who use public transportation only ask to be brought to the gate. Is this a miscommunication or is there an intention to trap domestic tourists. I do not know, the article this case often occurs by several people who deal with cikole drivers. I told this experience to the next transport driver and said that the cikole transport driver always made trouble. So, this is not the first experienced by local tourists.
I don't know a good feeling is down at the tourist destination or wrong! When I got there, I was confused whether the distance was still far. Where is this place the transportation rarely exists. Uh, short story, finally I can reach the Tangkuban Perahu gate. This is the first experience that really made by me, a solo woman traveling alone had felt anxious. Just imagine the forest here and there, and I’m alone hahaha. Nobody company me.
Finally Travel to Tangkuban Perahu
Mine intention to walk to Tangkuban Perahu, where from the gate to the tourist location requires extra strength and energy. The reason is the distance of about 5 kilometers. Wow, where can I do it? Intentions, just try to make sure you can. Uh, I just walked a few steps. There are some people who offer motorcycle taxis there for various fees. However, I refused. In the end, I accepted because there was a motorcycle taxi who was eager and eager to offer his services.
Yes, I said if I want to go to the crater that can boil eggs and blab la reinforcements. He said ok at a cost of 200,000 to go down again. However, in reality he did not bring to the tourist attractions that I wanted. Gosh, I got scam again. Then, I also felt uncomfortable because I was followed here and there by him. In fact, I want to go to the end of the crater just forbidden. Really not satisfied!
Next, still want to go back and finish the delayed adventure. Why should you go to Tangkuban Perahu?
Here it is the reason why you and I must visit here while on vacation to the flower city or Bandung. Tangkuban Perahu Mountain is a mountain which has an altitude of about 2,084 m. Where the shape of this mountain is a form of Stratovulcano with an eruption center that moves from east to west. There are so many interesting craters to see.
The combination of views of the mountain crater and cold air is a perfect blend for adventure lovers. Moreover, Tangkuban Perahu crater is very much, no worry despite holidays with children. Along the crater, a wooden fence is installed which serves not only to show direction, but also for the safety of visitors. Well, how exciting is it to visit Tangkuban Perahu in Bandung? Only in this place you can see the different mountains in Indonesia hahaha. I guess!
Conclusion
How to go to Tangkuban Perahu used public transportation, local people said ANGKOT. First at all based on my experience, we start from train station. Take the public transportation go to Rembang, then continue to Cikole pubic transportation. You should told to driver YOU JUST WANT to stop in Tangkuban Perahu Gate. Sometimes when we said tangkuban perahu, some people will think you want to up the mountain, actually you just want to the gate and walk around 5 kilo meter to get in the hill.
